Hi there Ladies! My attempt to join the bandwagon of blogging! I'm hoping to share weekly with you some of my creations and inspirations using Stampin' Up! products.

Every second Tuesday of the month, my wonderful upline Barb Rider hosts a meeting and her downline of fellow demonstrators and we have the option to participate in swaps. Our theme for this month was "Quick Cards".

I wanted to share with you the card I made for our swap! Here's directions on how I put this fantastic quick card together. I absolutely love our new Love Me Designer Double-sided paper featured in the mini catalog. I used whisper white cardstock for the base 5 1/2 x 8 1/2. Then, I folded it and scored one edge at 1". I then cut a 5 1/2 x 3 piece of Love Me Designer Paper (Bubbles) and adhered it to the cardstock. I stamped Itty Bitty Backgrounds in Cool Caribbean. And, used "Happiness Always" sentiment from the SAB set Happy Harmony is stamped in Taken with Teal. Then, for the final touch added ribbon from our new Flirty Ribbon originals in the Winter Mini Catalog. I love, love, love how crisp and clean this turned out. In fact, I'm following this same principal for my daughter's thank you card's who will be turning 3 this weekend!

Anyhow, just a reminder of my upcoming "So Sweet" Scrapbook In A Tin class. You don't want to miss out on this great keepsake. I have a few more spots available. $20 inlcudes the Accents and Elements Tin, a mini scrapbook, and four quick but great cards using stamps and the diecut card stock stickers included in the tin. Please visit my website for more information www.mgal.stampinup.net.

I hope to add more after I return from Leadership in Houston! I'll be participating in many swaps and hope to come home with more than 100 card fronts for new inspiration as well as new techniques. I leave Thursday morning and get back Saturday night. I haven't been on a trip like this since before Rhea was born. As much as I'll miss my babies and husband too. I'm looking forward to a girly weekend with crazy passionate stampers like myself!!!
